The Surface Book 3 is available for preorder now and shipping should commence on May 21st. The inclusion of the Windows Hello capability on the Surface Book 3 comes almost exactly a year after the biometric authentication platform received FIDO2 certification. With the Windows Hello integration, Surface Book 3 users can log into their device securely using facial recognition via the laptop’s camera, joining a growing list of devices that have added the functionality in recent years.
